Are you a KPOP fan who looks like your idol? Have you been constantly told that you look like one of them gorgeous KPOP stars? Well, this is definitely the contest for you – its the KPOP IDOL LOOK-ALIKE CONTEST!
Last year, the first KPOP Idol Look-alike Contest became a big hit and made a lot of noise in the local fandom. Roxie Almeida aka SNSD’s Tiffany, Min Ortiz aka JYJ’s Jaejoong, Mayi Maniego aka Miss A’s Min and Jeffrie Tsang aka Super Junior’s Leeteuk reigned supreme and took home the ultimate bragging rights. They also became instant sensations!
We are happy to announce winners of the 2011 KPOP Idol Look-Alike Contest, who will be crowned at THE 3RD PHILIPPINE KPOP CONVENTION! They will get a glam photo shoot c/o of the pros from Art Movement Studios, KPOP goodies, gift packs from our sponsors and of course, the ultimate bragging rights!!! We’ll also allot an area and a time so the fans can have photo op with them.

THE 3RD PHILIPPINE KPOP CONVENTION
December 30, 2011 10am-7pm

1. “Like” the Philippine KPOP Convention (Official Philippine KPOP Committee) fanpage.
2. Upload a HEADSHOT of yourself on the fanpage, side-by-side your KPOP idol look-alike. Minimum size is 600 pixels width. On the photo, affix this Philippine Kpop Convention 3 logo -> hhttp://i.imgur.com/40Nvu.jpg
Note: Please note that only KPOP idol/singer look-alikes are qualified for this contest and not actors or characters in dramas, unless the said actor is also in the music industry(should’ve debuted as a singer, works as a singer, promotes as a singer and have released an album/single under her/his name)
3. On the description, write:
- Your name
- The group/name of the the Kpop idol
- Your email address
4. Share the link to your friends and have them VOTE for you by commenting on your photo and telling us why you should win! (Even negative or “hate” comments are equivalent to one point).
5. Criteria for judging are as follows:
- 50% for the most number of individual comments
- 50% for accuracy of image
6. Only one entry is allowed per person and uploading a photo in behalf of someone else is not allowed. Please tag yourself.
7. IMPORTANT: Promoting your photo/entry on PKCI’s facebook page is STRICTLY PROHIBITED and may cause disqualification. You are free to promote it everywhere else, except on the official FB account of the Philippine Kpop Convention/Philippine Kpop Committee and the official event page of the 2nd Philippine Kpop Convention.
8. Contest/uploading officially starts on November 19, 2011, 8pm and ends on December 20, 2011, 12nn. TIP: The earlier you upload, the more votes you get!
9. The announcement of the top 4 winners is on December 21, 2011. The top 4 winners must be available for a photo shoot on December 23, 2011 as their images will be displayed at the 3rd Philippine Kpop Convention venue.

* If you joined last year, you may join again but with a different set of photos
* Last year’s winners may join on 2012.
* This contest should not be confused with the Kosplay Competition. The participants need not wear the same clothes as their idol-look alikes and there will be no runway walk. Furthermore, this is mainly an online contest.
